| Description: |
Open mold for the manufacturing of faience amulets, scarabs and jewelry, made of fired, iron-rich Nile clay. This shallow negative impression mold yields, a hieroglyphic inscriptions, which reads “Usermaatre, beloved of Amun"(=prenomen of Ramesses III of Dynasty 20).
