Charcoal-green stone, finely carved in the shape of a scarab beetle, the underside remains uninscribed.

Ancient Egyptians attached great importance to the preservation of the heart. During the mummification process, the heart was left in the body and the heart scarab was placed over it. These types of scarabs are frequently found inscribed with spell XXXB from the Book of the Dead.
