Skyphos, each side with an owl with head turned frontally facing, framed by two olive branches, on a reserved groundline, with two handles attached below the rim. Examples of this type were manufactured in both Apulia, South Italy and Athens, Greece.

Provenance:
ex. Private Collection, Spain.
Acquired in the European art market, 90s.
Formerly in a French Private Collection, prior to 1970s.
Condition:
Rejoined from large fragments with a chip on rim, see image for a close-up.
