The finely detailed figure is depicted as a happy baby with fleshy folds. He is shown with legs to the left, arms held out to the sides and with a small drop pendant, once enhanced with pearls, (now missing), in each hand. He is further shown with leaf-shaped wings, once enameled, traces of which remain in his right wing, a cabochon garnet in a round box setting centered on his belly. The whole surmounted by a suspension loop.

Provenance:
English Private Collection, acquired in the late 1960s.
Condition:
Inlay on wings missing, otherwise intact.
