Medium walled buff clay, polished red and black, fired black on inside and a band around the exterior rim, hemispherical in shape with a small string-hole lug at the rim. This bowl belongs to a class which is characterized by a decoration in two-tone. A common method used by covering the rim and the inside with ashes. Placed upside down in the kiln the pottery was given a black color, the covered surface not being fully oxidized.

Condition:
Intact with some surface wear.
